Buyer Questions
Straight tuck end box FAQ
What is a straight tuck end box?
A straight tuck end (STE) box is a folding carton whose top and bottom closure flaps hinge from the same panel. It is printed and die-cut from one paperboard sheet, glued along one side seam and shipped flat.
When should I choose straight tuck instead of reverse tuck?
Straight tuck is often chosen when the front display panel should look clean and consistent, for example on premium retail cartons. Reverse tuck can be more economical in some layouts. We compare both dielines against your artwork before sampling.
Can a straight tuck box have a window or hang tab?
Windows, hang tabs and inserts can be reviewed as part of the structure. Mention them in your brief, because they change the dieline and production steps.
What are the MOQ, sampling and production times?
The minimum order quantity is 500 pieces. Sample lead time is 7 days after the design requirements are confirmed, and production takes 21 days after sample and artwork approval. Shipping time is quoted separately.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send the packaging type, product dimensions, quantity, artwork or design reference, printing and finishing requirements, and delivery destination. If the material is undecided, describe how the packaging will be used.
